At Marysville Grace, our mission is to guide each child toward becoming a disciple of Christ, deepening their faith and understanding of Him. Through teaching from Scripture, we seek to foster confidence in God's character, while helping them learn to love God, others, and make disciples of Jesus.
We believe discipleship primarily takes place in the home, so our aim is to partner with parents to establish a gospel-centered foundation for their children.
Here's what to expect when visiting MG Kids for the first time:
You will be greeted by one of our team members at the entryway, then taken to one of our check-in stations. We will check in each child, print name tags, then escort you to each child’s classroom so you can meet the volunteers. When you check in, security code tag will be printed. Be sure to keep this tag, as it must be presented to the volunteers at the classroom door to pick up your child at the end of the service.
Parents of kids ages birth - 2nd grade must show their security tag in order to pick up their child from the classroom.
Kids older than 2nd grade are able to leave on their own after service and are told to go directly to their parents. If you prefer to have your child wait until you come and pick him/her up before dismissing them, please let the volunteers know when you drop off your child in the classroom.
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s security code will appear on the screen. Please check in with the Registration Desk downstairs, show your security tag, and then the volunteer will let you know which classroom to go to.
SOAR is our ministry for children with special needs.
(SOAR stands for Special Opportunities, Abilities, and Relationships)
It's our goal to provide a safe place for your child (infant through 6th grade) to learn how much God loves him or her, so that you can attend worship service knowing your child is well-cared for.
We would love to get to know you or answer your questions!
The Gospel Project
The Gospel Project invites kids to experience the good news again and again by continuously tracing the need for redemption in the story of the gospel and in their stories too.
